Photo Forensics. The ability to see how a photo is altered (manipulation or otherwise). This branch of schooling is quite complex as there are many methods of seeing how a photo is altered, both via the naked eye and through dirt data processing.
I don’t know dirt data processing. I only know how to use my eyes. I only mention photo forensics because this year’s winners for the world press awards, as seen here, contain fakes. Interesting point of discussion, for me anyway.
